Annual Cadaver Lab
Come join us on our annual cadaver lab at the local medical school, Western University! This evening is reserved to practice procedures on cadaver donors that are rare but essential to the practice of Emergency Medicine, such as cricothyroidotomy, pleural access procedures (thoracostomy, thoracentesis), resuscitative thoracotomies, lateral canthotomies, and much more! Medical students are of course welcome, please however RSVP to Dr. Burt’s email above.
DAY OF LOGISTICS:
Pleasure ensure that the full name that you RSVP with is the same name and spelling as what is on your Driver’s License. Please remember you Driver’s License to this event, as it is required to gain access into the anatomy lab. There will be several round robin stations for each of the above procedures aforementioned with PPE provided and opportunity to practice.
DINNER:
Dinner will be provided prior to the event at a local restaurant (arrangements still being made, stay posted), not far from the medical school at 5:30PM, while the lab will commence at 7:00PM.
