Mozambique March & October 2023
Three RUHS Emergency Medicine residents and several RUHS nurses spent one month in Maputo, Mozambique, during both March and October 2023, working alongside Mozambican residents in a newly established Emergency Department. Collaborating closely with local trainees and physicians, they participated in patient resuscitations and procedures while providing daily lectures and bedside teaching. The experience fostered clinical education, knowledge exchange, and the continued development of emergency medicine training in Mozambique.
