Nigeria October 2022
Two RUHS Emergency Medicine residents and several RUHS nurses spent two weeks in Ondo State, Nigeria, providing education and training to more than 500 healthcare workers. Through lectures, workshops, and hands-on instruction, the team taught trauma resuscitation, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), airway management, pediatric resuscitation, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), and emergency procedures. By sharing knowledge and practical skills, they helped strengthen the capacity of local healthcare providers and support the delivery of high-quality emergency care throughout the region.
